About CTET:-

Central Teacher Eligibility Test or CTET exam is a National level exam. CBSE (Central Board of secondary education) Organize this exam to recruit teachers. The Examination will consist of two Papers both exam will be Offline. After clearing any one exam candidates will go for an interview. It is a great opportunity for those who want to be a teacher.

CTET 2019 Syllabus For Primary Stage:-

Syllabus of CTET 2019 is mainly ndivided in five parts

  • Child Development and Pedagogy.
  • Language I.
  • Language II.
  • Mathematics.
  • Environmental Studies.

CTET 2019 Syllabus For Secondary Stage:-

Syllabus of CTET 2019 is divided in Five parts

  • Child Development and Pedagogy.
  • Language I.
  • Language II.
  • Mathematics and Science.
  • Social Studies/Social Sciences.


A. Written Test: There are two exams Paper-I and Paper-II. Both papers are the offline OMR sheet based papers. The time duration for both papers will be 150 minutes. Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII. A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II). Each carrying one mark and there will be no negative marking.

B. Resolution of Tie Cases: In special cases where more than one candidate secure the equal marks, a tie will be resolved by applying the following methods one after another:- 
(i) Total marks in written examination. 
(ii) Marks in Paper-II. 
(iii) Marks in Paper-I. 
(iv) Date of birth, with older candidates, placed higher. 
(v) Alphabetical order in the first names of the candidates appear.
